About
Amanda Wright is a globally certified Breathwork Facilitator, Qi Gong Instructor, and the founder of Breathe Wright, a wellness brand dedicated to helping people regulate, recalibrate, and rise through the art and science of conscious breathing. Her work bridges ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience, offering a grounded yet expansive approach to nervous-system regulation, emotional balance, and embodied presence. Amanda’s breathwork journey began in 2020, when she discovered that 70 percent of weight is released through the exhalation. This insight sparked a deep curiosity that led her to train with leading teachers including Tom Granger (Draw Breath, Aria Breath), Peter Caughey (Forest Rock Qi Gong), and Steph Magenta (Seven Directions Breathwork). Today, she integrates these modalities to create accessible pathways for transformation—whether through 1:1 sessions, workplace wellness programs, immersive workshops, or retreats. Qi Gong is a vital part of Amanda’s practice—a moving meditation that unites breath, posture, and flow to open the body’s meridians, harmonize energy, and restore vitality. She often describes Qi Gong as breathwork in motion: a practice that cultivates balance between Yin and Yang while deepening one’s relationship with the natural world. With a background as the co-founder and Creative Director of Splore Festival (New Zealand’s iconic music and arts festival) and over 30 years as DJ Amandamania, Amanda brings a unique blend of creativity, rhythm, and presence to her facilitation. Her signature offerings—such as Creative Calm, Resilience Works, Breath & Beats, and The Presence Principle—weave science, sound, and soul into powerful experiences of connection and clarity. Amanda’s mission is to help people breathe better, feel deeper, and live freer—reconnecting with their innate wisdom, joy, and wholeness, one breath at a time.
